Max's First Trip To The Beach

I had a week off at the end of June before Max started in day care.  We went to the Bronx Zoo one day, Max really liked the children's petting zoo.  He fed the animals and ran from one pen to the next.  Then we went down to the Jersey Shore to spend three days with friends.  There were a lot of new things for Max at the beach; the ocean, the sand, and sleeping in a pack n' play, just to name a few.  He had a great time playing with our friend Matthew.  Here are a few pictures from our first trip to the zoo and the beach.

P.S.  Thanks to Sara & Julian, I think I may have resolved the problem people were having posting to my blog.  Please let me know if you are still having problems posting, thanks.

Yeah... a picture...it makes it all so real for us the readers. What an adorable little face he has, so full of life accompanied by the most beautiful blue eyes.

You should come to visit. We can go to the Zoo at Van Saun!. At least you will come for Halloween for sure.

Hi Chris! I am just now catching up on all your news! When you came home with Max is when I came down with Lyme Disease! That put me behind in work, personal life, everything! I have been wanting to send you a Welcome Home/care package but realize I don't have your address! Only your email address! Can you email it to me at welbyw@aol.com? I am soooo happy this has all finally come together for you! Welby

Oh sure, now with that postscript we feel obligated to leave a comment!

Glad to see that you and Max have been out and about. He looks quite content and settled in the pictures. When will he get to experience his first baseball game? (It obviously won't be in October because that would preclude Toronto).

All the best.

Julian

P.S. We are jealous that you have a pool, this week.

Oh, and "Hi" to Welby and family in the comments above (sorry about the Lyme disease). Let's do pizza next time we are all in Almaty, again.

So happy to see those adorable pictures of Max. He sure is a happy little guy! Enjoy every minute of these experiences together. This stage of "firsts" is so special for both of you.

I'm so glad I found your blog! I was having trouble finding one as recent as yours.

My husband and I are getting ready to start the adoption process for Russia and we're planning on working with CHI.

Thanks for sharing your story and congratulations on your wonderful, beautiful son!
